Local Care Direct recognises that it is through its people that it will continue to deliver excellent services and remain at the forefront of developments in out of hours and other unscheduled services.

Many of LCD’s employees have come from the NHS and continue to hold its values, while at the same time enjoy a freedom and flexibility not available within the NHS. This allows teams to respond quickly to the needs of commissioners by having the ability to do different things, rather than doing the same things differently.
