Salary: £20.60 per hour + £6.18 per hour Recruitment & Retention pay for hours worked Out of Hours

Shifts:  Various Full time & Part time positions available working flexibly to include evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays

Location: Working at Local Care Direct Urgent Care Centres across West Yorkshire

The Urgent Care Practitioner will be a Paramedic or Nurse with post graduate qualifications and clinical experience relevant to the position.

They will act within their professional boundaries and will provide care for the patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment to discharge or onwards referral. This may take place over the telephone, in a clinic or in the patient’s home.

They will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care for patients, work only within their scope of clinical competence. The Urgent Care Practitioner will be required to work flexibly to meet service demand.
