History:
- 2004 – Created by GPs in West Yorkshire from nine co-operatives
- 2004 – Awarded 15 contracts to provide out of hours services across West Yorkshire
- 2006 – British Association of Medical Managers Team of the Year
- 2006 – Expanded to cover South Yorkshire and Lincolnshire
- 2008 – Awarded a contract for the country’s first GP-led equitable access centre in Bradford
- 2009 – Expanded primary care business
- 2012 – Launched partnership with Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust to deliver NHS111 and urgent care services in West Yorkshire and the Craven District of North Yorkshire
- 2012 – Developed a new clinical management model of healthcare using ‘Telehealth’ technology for a pilot service in Leeds
- 2013 – Selected by Skills for Health as a national pilot site for a role modelling project to create a new support role specification for health care providers
- 2013 – Winner of the 2013 Social Enterprise UK Award for Innovation
- 2014 – Finalist in Medipex NS Innovation Awards for Software & Telehealth
- 2016 – Investment and expansion into new offices at Bradley
- 2017 – Began pilot of the DocAbode App
- 2017 – Awarded contract to provide clinical support and care to the residents of the Quest Care Homes in Calderdale via video consultation
- 2018 – Launched first Urgent Treatment Centres in West Yorkshire
- 2019 – Winner of the HSJ Partnership in Innovation Award for DocAbode
- 2019 – Awarded the Yorkshire and Humber Dental Clinical Advice and Booking Service contract
- 2020 – Began supporting our colleagues through the pandemic
- 2020 – Designed, implemented and delivered new services to help fight the pandemic
